Funeral Planning

estate planning, virtual law firm, virtual estate planning, wills and trusts, wills, trusts, guardian, conservator, executor, trustee, deed

Even clients who have completed their estate plan get a little nervous to plan out their funeral.  Indecisiveness leads to a failure to make any decisions, which costs the family a lot of money and stress.

Making even a minimal plan can save your family thousands.  I highly recommend you set up a time to chat about this.  Questions?  Keep reading.

frequently asked questions

You don’t have to plan out every detail.  But it will make your death a lot easier for your loved ones if you at least let them know whether you prefer to be cremated or buried.

Even if you’re not sure, it’s better to create a plan for today, and change it later, if you want to.  We don’t know when we will die so any guidance we can give our loved ones is super helpful.

First, the cost of funerals doubles every 15 years.  By pre-paying, we ensure our loved ones save thousands.  In fact, the earlier we purchase, the more our family saves.

Second, if you have minor children when you sign up, your children are covered as part of your policy!

Third, we just never know what the future holds.  Accidents are the #1 cause of death for people ages 1-44.  They happen every day.  While most people do live long lives, you just never know.  Making a plan ensures that your loved ones know what to do, even if the unexpected happens.

When you die, your loved ones will be forced to pay for your funeral, in full.  If you make the arrangements in advance, you can pay over 3, 5 or even 10 years.  For less than $50 a month, you may be able to get your funeral paid for.

Absolutely!  We can provide a plan for those who have had negative health diagnosis and who are up to 99 years old!

No problem!  If you under purchase, you can either add more to your policy later, or your loved ones will simply pay the difference.

If you over purchase, your family will get the difference.  In fact, if you don’t qualify for life insurance, this is a great alternative to provide a little money to your family.

A pre-paid funeral plan can cover almost everything.  Prayer cards, mementos, entertainment, transportation, casket, cremation, urn, and so on.  The only thing it does not cover is your burial plot.  That is real estate and will need to be purchased directly from the location.  A typical plan does not include international transportation of the body, unless you add that on as well.
